Green anchor points mark each side, a translucent beam preview spans part of the opening, and a large hand demonstrates dragging a component. A three-star cost meter sits along the top. The screen is an actual construction tutorial and clearly communicates that material use affects the score.
The modern city background provides context without hiding the anchor grid. We did not complete every bridge, inspect later materials, or test a full vehicle crossing during this audit.

Road segments need support; supports need sensible triangles; and every unnecessary component can increase cost. A bridge that looks complete can still fail if forces concentrate in one weak joint.
The star meter adds an efficiency goal beyond simple survival. Passing with too much material may be valid but not optimal.
Building The First Span
Connect the road surface between the green anchors first. Then add support underneath rather than stacking pieces randomly above the deck. Triangular bracing is generally more stable than long unsupported rectangles because it resists shape change.
- Snap every joint carefully to an anchor or another connected node.
- Support the middle of a long span before adding decorative height.
- Use symmetry when the gap and load are symmetrical.
- Test after a small complete design, then reinforce the point that actually bends.
When the simulation fails, watch which joint moves first. That is more informative than adding material everywhere.
Controls And Screen Fit
The hand prompt confirms a drag-based construction interface, appropriate for mouse or touch. The visible grid helps alignment on desktop. No keyboard-only method appeared in the tutorial, and we did not test undo shortcuts or gamepad input.
Small joint markers may be difficult on a phone if the browser is not full screen. The clear green anchors and translucent preview help distinguish intended connections, but later dense structures could require careful zoom or precise pointing.
Friction And Unknowns
